I'm a tough cookie when it comes to getting free stuff as a blogger in exchange for a review. Ask any company or individual who's ever sent me an email. It's very hard (read: impossible) to convince me to promote your stuff to my audience if I don't think they'll benefit from it in some way.
But when this subscription box for female entrepreneurs sent me an email in March, it was a no brainer- you guys were going to love it!
DISCLAIMER: The Sparkle Hustle Grow box was given to me free of charge and I am an affiliate for the subscription. However, I’m giving my honest-to-goodness reactions here so you can have peace of mind that this is a genuine review. :)
What is Sparkle Hustle Grow?
Sparkle Hustle Grow is an online community and subscription box for female entrepreneurs, and they sent me a free box to try out their product! Annnd they also sent a coupon code for you guys so you can save some money if you're interested in joining.
Just click here and use the code LINDSTROM to get $5 OFF your first box!
The Unboxing Haul
I personally love watching unboxing videos so I’m sharing mine too so you can see my honest-to-goodness genuine reaction to all the items. Pssstt...are you subscribed to my channel yet?
But you can keep reading if you'd rather just the text version of this unboxing...
1. Be a Business Badass by Emily D. Baker, Esq
It's insanely important that you guys take precautions and protect yourself legally as you build your blogging business! This first item is perfect for helping you cross your t's and dot your i's because it's a online legal business basics course. Score!
2. 2 USB-Port Wall Charger
If you watched the video then you heard me squeal with excitement! I've been needing one of these (how does Sparkle Hustle Grow know this??) and I was thrilled to get it in this month's box.
3. Wireless Mouse
"Cute as a button." That's how I would describe this wireless mouse. And I laughed a little when I saw the little notecard from Sparkle Hustle Grow that said, "Get rid of that standard black mouse and level up with this fun, fresh and feminine wireless mouse by Winx." I'm pretty sure they were talking directly to me.
4. Coconut Cashew Collagen Protein Bar, $3 value
If you fast-forward to right here in my unboxing video, you'll see my hilarious reaction to this next product. I'm either living under a rock or completely air-headed because I had no idea grass-fed collagen was a popular trend in health foods. Not sure I'm going to try this one but then again, I'm the type of person to choose tacos over protein bars any day.
My son is also super allergic to nuts so I threw it out right away to make sure he didn't accidentally touch it. Needless to say, I don't have a pic of it but you can always just click here and my video will show you what it looks like.
Sparkle Hustle Grow also threw in a Buy 1, Get 1 coupon (value of $6, I guess) so that's great if you tried the bar and loved it.
5. Gold Mega Paperclips
This ain't your grandma's kind of paperclip. These things are huge! I'd personally use them for holding together larger poster projects.
Here's what I mean:
Run down to the dollar store and pick up a few of those large poster boards they sell. You can cut them down to size (or leave them large like that) and use them to draw your sales funnels, content brainstorming ideas, or any other strategic plans you might have.
The paperclips are large enough to keep everything together and you can use the large space of a poster to get super creative and description with your plans.
6. Hustle Notepad
I LOVE THIS NOTEPAD! You guys already know I was thrilled when I got a notepad in the last Sparkle Hustle Grow box so this was another win for me.
The paper quality is out of this world. Did you see my Erin Condren unboxing for my 2018-2019 planner? The paper feels just like that, if not even better.
This isn't the kind of notepad you'd write to-do lists on. This kind of quality deserves your best blogging brainstorming.
7. Daring & Disruptive: Unleashing the Entrepreneur
Y'all already know I'm a major bookworm! I get comments about my color-coordinated bookshelves all the time. (Yep, I'm that nerdy!)
So this book was already a half-win as I pulled it out of the box. But then it became a full blown win when I started reading it.
Lisa Messenger is the creator and founder of Collective Hub so she obviously has a lot of wisdom to share.
If you want the book but weren't able to get April's Sparkle Hustle Grow box, you can find it available here. The subscription box said it had a $16 value but I found the book for about $11 at that link. Save yo money, girl!
This wouldn't be a proper unboxing if I didn't choose favorites!
I was really thrilled by the techie stuff that's included. The wall charger is a no-brainer, the mouse will be great if it's comfortable for all those hours of video editing I do, and the book is already looking like it's going to be a great read.
All around, this was a good box! Are you going to join Sparkle Hustle Grow?
